01

About these terms

These terms describe use of Brass Charter’s website, free worksheets and guides, and paid software and template downloads. Each product’s offer, supplied instructions and applicable license also explain that product’s scope.

Brass Charter is operated by Silver Gonzo Studios LLC.

Brass Charter provides resources for planning and organizing business work. Website access does not create an advisory, lending or professional-client relationship. Private website accounts and account-based saving are planned and are not currently available.

These terms do not change the terms of an existing purchase. Any agreement required for a purchase or future service must be presented at the appropriate step.

02

Using the resources

Free tools and guides help you work through a question, compare assumptions or prepare a next step. You can use the public tools without a Brass Charter account. Follow the instructions for entering information and keeping the result.

Paid products have different requirements. Some are HTML applications opened in a browser; others use document, spreadsheet or PDF software. Check the product’s requirements and included files before purchasing. Software or services used to carry out a project are separate unless the offer specifically includes them.

The AI Automation Proposal Kit, for example, supplies scoping and proposal resources for client projects. It does not build the automation or send a proposal for you. A separate working copy for each client is part of its existing instructions.

03

Your work and product license

You retain the rights you already hold in the information, figures and original content you bring to a tool. You remain responsible for having permission to use and share information belonging to someone else.

Use it in your work. Keep what you create.

This standard license describes paid software and template downloads. One purchaser or organization, including its team. Paid client work included.

Who can use the files

Your purchase covers your personal use or the use of one purchasing business or organization. That business’s employees and contractors may use the files for its work, including work it performs for clients, with no separate per-client fee. There is no device, seat or project-count limit within that scope. People helping with your own household or estate matter may assist with that work too.

Copies, templates and completed work

You may keep backup and working copies and adapt the supplied templates for your projects. You may share the completed reports, proposals, plans, letters and other outputs you prepare with the people who need them. Where a product is designed to create an editable client document, you may give your client that completed document. Your existing rights in your information and original contributions remain yours.

Distribution and rebranding

Sharing completed work does not grant another person independent reuse of the underlying application, blank templates or kit. This standard license does not include reselling or giving away those reusable product files, publicly hosting the applications, or rebranding and distributing them as your own product. Those uses require a separate written permission from Brass Charter unless applicable law or a separate license already permits them. Keep required third-party notices and licenses intact.

Existing purchases and product promises

The refund and update promises in your product’s offer continue to apply. This license does not reduce permissions already granted with an earlier purchase or rights that applicable law gives you. A later website update does not automatically replace the terms of an earlier purchase.

Two practical examples

  • A consultant can give a client a completed proposal, including an editable completed document where the product is designed for that purpose. Giving the client the reusable application for independent future projects requires separate permission.
  • An accountant may review a filled workbook for your records. That does not give the accountant permission to reuse the underlying product across their other clients.

Team-use permission does not add shared saving or automatic data transfer. Follow each product’s operating and backup instructions; a printed PDF or copied summary may be a reading copy rather than a file the application can reopen.

How to keep your work

04

Purchases and delivery

The product page and checkout identify the item, price, payment currency and included files. Review the final total and any tax shown before paying. The current catalog offers one-time purchases; a standalone item and a package can contain overlapping products.

Check package contents before buying a separate tool. The Verified Acquisition System includes Buyer OS and seven companion applications. Buying Buyer OS alone does not include those seven companions.

Gumroad provides checkout and digital delivery under its own platform terms. Keep your receipt and delivery link. Brass Charter’s product descriptions and commitments still matter alongside that separate checkout service.

A download contains the files listed in its offer. Services such as personal consulting, implementation or a hosted workspace are included only when the offer expressly says so.

05

Refunds and product updates

The refund and update promises made for your product at purchase continue to apply. Several current products include a 30-day full-refund promise and free updates. Refer to the specific offer and your receipt for the wording and request instructions.

For example, the LOI & Offer Builder, Due-Diligence Deal Room and Acquisition Loan Package Builder include those promises in their supplied instructions. This page does not replace them with a different refund period or reduce their scope.

If a download is missing, damaged or different from what was described, use the support details in your receipt or product instructions. Identify the product, purchase reference and problem; do not send payment-card details.

Any refund promise is additional to rights that applicable law gives you. Digital-content cancellation and other consumer rights can depend on your location and the purchase process. A download alone should not be treated as a blanket waiver of those rights.

06

Outputs and business decisions

Calculators, checklists and templates organize the information you enter. They do not independently verify a seller’s records, establish a business’s value, approve financing or confirm that a transaction is safe to complete.

Review inputs, assumptions, reference dates and sample content before relying on an output. A model’s estimate is not a promise of revenue, savings, lender approval or another outcome. An illustrative business or scenario is not a verified customer result.

These resources do not replace legal, financial, tax, accounting or lending advice tailored to your situation. Have an appropriate professional review a legal document before sending or signing it, and confirm current lending requirements with the lender involved.

These limits explain what the products do. They do not excuse a defective or misdescribed product or remove rights you have under applicable law.

07

Responsible use

Use the website and downloads lawfully and respect other people’s rights. In particular:

  • Use only information you are entitled to access and share.
  • Do not introduce malicious software or deliberately interfere with the website or other people’s access.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts or private information.
  • Do not represent an illustrative result or an unreviewed document as independently verified or professionally approved.

If you find a problem, report what you observed without accessing another person’s data or causing disruption.

08

Availability and changes

The website may need maintenance, corrections or changes as the resources develop. Online access depends on the website and your connection. Downloaded products follow their own operating requirements and saving instructions.

The availability of a web page does not establish that an account feature or future product has launched. New features need their own accurate description and, where appropriate, additional terms before you choose to use them.

Revisions to these terms should show a revised date and explain material changes. Changes affecting a purchase must respect the commitments and rights that apply to that purchase; a later website edit does not by itself rewrite them.

Information about personal data, browser storage and providers is set out in the Privacy notice.

09

Your legal rights

Applicable law may give you rights relating to digital products, services, refunds and remedies. Nothing in these terms is intended to take away rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
