01

The current website

Brass Charter’s public website serves its fonts and tool scripts with the site. It does not currently embed advertising or audience-analytics tools. There are no optional advertising or analytics settings to switch on or off here.

Free worksheets handle your entries in the open browser session. Keep an editable download to return to your work. Private account saving is planned and is not currently active.

This page explains browser storage and controls. Our Privacy notice also covers information used to deliver the website, purchases and contact requests.

02

Cookies, storage and files

Cookies
Small pieces of data a website can place in your browser. Depending on their settings, they can accompany later requests to that website. A cookie is not an editable worksheet backup.
Browser storage
A website can save information on your device using local or session storage. Local storage can survive closing the browser; session storage belongs to a page session. Browser settings, clearing and restoration can affect what remains.
Cached files
Your browser may keep copies of page assets, such as fonts and images, to load them again. These copies are different from saved worksheet answers.
Your downloads
Files you choose to download are saved in a location you control. Removing cookies or site storage does not itself delete those downloaded files.

03

Website storage, in context

Some storage support exists for earlier or planned features. That does not mean every item is being created during your visit.

A bundled library briefly creates and removes a temporary browser-storage entry to check whether storage works. This check does not save worksheet answers or start an account session. The website may also check for and remove a temporary sign-in draft left by an earlier session.

Edition preference
The website can remember an edition when you choose a different available edition. The current US English view has no alternative edition to select. If a preference exists, it can remain until replaced or removed through browser controls.
Earlier saved plans
Older idea-plan data may remain in a browser that used an earlier version. The current free-tool workflow uses editable downloads rather than creating that earlier saved-plan collection. Existing local data has no automatic expiry in that older storage format.
Account saving
Sign-in and private account storage are not active. The application includes preparation for a sign-in session and a temporary returning draft; those features need review and updated information before they are enabled.
Storage names for checking site data

These names can help identify Brass Charter data in browser inspection tools. A listed name is not a claim that the item is present in your browser.

lswt-…
A temporary local-storage availability check made by a bundled library. It is removed immediately after the check.
supabase.gotrue-js.locks.debug
A library may read this diagnostic setting if it already exists. The normal website workflow does not create it.
brass-charter-edition
Local storage for a selected edition, when an edition choice is available.
brasscharter.mywork.v1
Earlier local idea-plan storage. The current free-tool workflow does not create this collection.
brasscharter.sign-in-draft.v1
Session storage prepared for an explicit sign-in return. Sign-in is currently inactive.
brasscharter.account.session.v1
The configured name for a future account session. The account connection is currently inactive.

Browser storage is not a guaranteed backup. Keep a separate editable file before clearing data, changing browsers or moving to another device.

04

Downloaded products save differently

Some paid HTML applications save work in the browser where you open the file. Others require you to export a file or copy a result. Follow the saving instructions supplied with that specific product.

A file opened from your device can be treated differently from a page at brasscharter.com. Moving the file, switching browsers or clearing browser data can affect whether its saved work is available. An export you keep separately is different from the application’s browser-saved copy.

Check that your backup can be reopened where that feature is supported. A PDF or printed report may preserve a readable result without restoring the editable worksheet.

Gumroad and other websites

Purchasing takes you to Gumroad’s checkout. Gumroad uses cookies and similar technologies for its own service, including functions such as keeping a session and providing platform features. Its practices and available choices are explained in Gumroad’s privacy notice.

Controls for brasscharter.com do not change data held by gumroad.com or another website. Use that service’s controls and your browser’s settings for the relevant site. The same distinction applies when you follow a link to an external resource.

06

Manage your browser data

  1. Keep the work you need.

Download an editable file where available and check it. Follow the supplied instructions for downloaded products.

  2. Choose the site and data carefully.

Open your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Review the entry for brasscharter.com; checkout data belongs to Gumroad’s entry. Select only the data you intend to remove.

  3. Review what changes.

Clearing data can remove preferences or browser-saved work and sign you out of other services. Blocking storage can affect features that depend on it.

Use your browser’s current instructions:

These links explain the browser’s controls. Reading this page does not clear data or change your settings.

07

Choices, questions and changes

Any future optional tracking needs an updated explanation and the choices required for its purpose and the law that applies. Where consent is required, the technology must wait for that choice, and withdrawing consent must be straightforward.

Reading this notice or continuing to browse is not an opt-in to optional tracking. Browser settings are useful controls, but they do not replace consent that a website itself is required to obtain.

For a question about personal information or a privacy request, see our Privacy and contact information .

Checked 29 September 2026 using an isolated browser session and public response headers. The tested homepage, free cash-planning workflow, My work and product page left no retained website-storage entries or cookies; a temporary library check was created and removed. Gumroad sets its own checkout cookies. This is a check of those flows, not every possible browser or purchase state. Future account or tracking changes require a fresh check.

Continuing will discard your unsaved changes. You can return to the draft and save or download it first.
