Using Owner Overview

How to start, keep, reopen, and use your Owner Overview work.

Review selected working files together and choose the actions that need your attention.

Open Owner Overview

Start with the work in front of you

  1. Start an overview and choose a review date. Import a supported source file and review the source preview before accepting it.
  2. Check the source’s entered date, import date, checked date, scope, and any overlap with other sources.
  3. Choose and maintain your own actions and available time. Download editable overview (.json) to keep sources and review work.

Keep it and pick it up again

The overview JSON includes the accepted source copies and action plan. It can contain substantial private business detail.

  1. Check your browser’s Downloads for the actual file. Keep the .json extension; a meaningful name and date can help you recognize the copy.
  2. Choose Open saved work below, select that file, and check the tool and summary shown.
  3. Continue in the tool. If there is already work open there, review the replacement prompt. Cancel to keep editing or download the current work before replacing it.

What to keep in view

The overview is a reviewed snapshot. Completing an overview action does not mark an invoice paid, finish a source job, or change the original source file. Refresh sources deliberately.

If it does not look right

If the file will not open, leave the original unchanged and read the error. A reading copy cannot substitute for the editable JSON. If you reopened an older copy, look for a later download; do not overwrite the current work while checking.
